Fees

Clinical Psychology Fees and Medicare

The fee for a 50 minute sessions are

• $230 per session for most clients

• $180 per session for clients experiencing financial hardship (please discuss with your clinician as availability of these sessions is limited)

If you have been referred through a GP or psychiatrist under a Better Access to Mental Health Treatment Plan you may be eligible for up to 6-10 sessions per calendar year with Medicare rebating the large proportion of this sum (see http://www.health.gov.au).
As of the 1st of July 2024, the rebate for sessions from Medicare
is $141.85.

To obtain a Mental Health Plan you will need to attend your GP or psychiatrist for a review. Typically GPs ask you to schedule a long appointment for developing these plans. This plan needs to be in place before your first appointment to avoid unnecessary costs.

Privately Funded Sessions

Individuals wishing to see a psychologist privately (not utilizing Medicare rebates) are welcome to book appointments.
Billing will be made directly to the individual and they may wish
to claim with a private health fund or through personal finances.

Cancellation Policy

Please be advised that 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. It is recognised that emergencies can occur and in the first instance please make contact. Cancellations without 24 hours’ notice will typically incur the full session fee. Please feel free to discuss any ongoing attendance or financial issues with us to avoid this cost.
